Glossier than the ProBass line, tidier than the Z40 Pro — the Z1's case shrinks meaningfully while keeping a large charge inside. Buds fit remained secure across my standard battery of abuse-testing (train-stairs sprint, bike-helmet compatibility, headbanging-to-kitchen-playlist durability). Auto-pair on case-open has the correct one-second latency feel.

Boult-typical bass-forward tuning with slightly more mid-bass control than the ProBass Curve; suits the Bollywood/EDM/pop mainstream beautifully. Battery: 63 hours measured across nine days of mixed listening — a huge figure by any standard other than its bigger sibling's. Standby drain behaved: a three-day drawer test lost ~8%.
