Lenovo Legion PB9 Review

The Quick Verdict

The Lenovo Legion PB9 is a powerhouse designed for laptop users and heavy travelers. With 140W charging, it can top up even high-end gaming laptops. The 24000mAh capacity delivers approximately 15600mAh of real output — enough for 3+ full phone charges. This is a premium device built for those who need serious power on the go.

The Good

Massive 24000mAh Capacity

With 24000mAh, this power bank delivers approximately 15600mAh of real-world output. You can charge your phone 3+ times before needing to recharge the power bank itself. Perfect for long weekends, extended travel, or powering multiple devices.

Blistering 140W Fast Charging

The 140W charging speed is exceptional. It can take a compatible phone from 0 to 50% in under 15-20 minutes. For laptop users, this means meaningful top-ups during a coffee break. This is genuinely fast charging that makes a difference in daily use.

Laptop Charging Support

With 140W USB-C PD output, this power bank can charge laptops, tablets, and even some gaming handhelds. This makes it a versatile travel companion — one power bank for all your USB-C devices. No need to carry separate laptop chargers for short trips.

Versatile Triple Output

With 2x USB-C + 2x USB-A, you can charge up to three devices simultaneously. Modern USB-C for laptops and tablets, plus USB-A for older devices and accessories. This flexibility means you can charge your phone, earbuds, and a friend's device all at once.

Digital Percentage Display

The digital display shows exactly how much charge remains — no more guessing based on vague LED dots. This precision lets you plan your charging sessions and know exactly when to recharge the power bank.

Pass-Through Charging

You can charge the power bank while it charges your devices — a convenient feature for travelers. Plug the power bank in at night and wake up to both the power bank and your phone fully charged.

Comprehensive Safety Protection

With Multi-layer circuit protection, temperature control, you can charge with confidence. Over-current, over-voltage, short-circuit, and temperature controls protect both your devices and the power bank itself.

The Bad

Noticeable Weight

At 560g, the Lenovo Legion PB9 adds noticeable heft to your bag. While manageable for backpack carry, it is not something you would want in a pocket or small sling bag.

Who Should Buy

Lenovo Legion PB9 is for laptop users, digital nomads, and anyone who needs to charge high-power devices on the go. If you own a USB-C laptop and want one charger that handles everything, this is it. Also suitable for gamers who need to keep their handheld consoles powered during long sessions.

Who Should Look Elsewhere

Look elsewhere if you want something compact and lightweight — this is a substantial device. If you only charge phones and never need laptop support, you can save money with a simpler, smaller power bank. Those who prefer wireless charging should also look at MagSafe-compatible options.

Bottom Line

The Lenovo Legion PB9 is a premium investment for users who need serious power. It is overkill for phone-only charging but essential for laptop users and digital nomads. At this price, you are paying for speed and versatility rather than just capacity.
